Although it wouldn't really be considered "cheating" by conventional standards, the fact that Chael Sonnen ever even fought in MMA ruined the lives of everyone else who fought during his career, since he simultaneously held every title in every weight class, and went undisputed and undefeated for his entire career, never even lost a round. They should have created separate titles for everyone not named Chael P. Sonnen. The "P" stands for "greatness."

I think Tanya Harding would be the #1, not to say what Armstrong did wasn't also horrible, but he didn't directly and maliciously take someone out like Harding's people did, that was a targeted attack at a competitor, and in something like Olympic skating, you might and very likely will only have one chance. And it's not like there's a whole lot of avenues to make a career out of figure skating.

Sadly, not true. For everyone who got caught cheating, there's probably 10 more who just never got caught. If we knew about every cheater in major sports, then nobody would ever cheat, because there would be a 100% chance you get caught.

Easy to say from the outside looking in, but if you have such a competitive mentality that you've gotten to the top of your sport, and you think you have a way to get a competitive advantage without getting caught, a lot of people are gonna take that. I'm not saying it's right or justifying it at all, but people who have the drive to get to the top in the first place are often not wired like normal people. The lines of ethics can get pretty blurry when your mind is in that state.

Jon Jones, not even for a single isolated incident, for a large chunk of his entire career, in numerous different ways.

Jon Jones, in about 40% of his fights, if not more.
