  1. Kevin Costner's baseball classics could be included on this, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, and For Love of the Game. He plays evolving characters in a way too, from just a regular guy with a love for baseball in Field of Dreams, to a minor league veteran chasing the homerun record, sort of "the best of the worst" kind of record in Bull Durham, to an accomplished major league veteran contemplating his life and legacy in For Love of the Game.

  3. Yea you could say the same about Anchorman, Talledegha Nights, and Semi Pro, all 3 are Will Ferrell playing a fictional dumbass that has some kind of celebrity status. Hell even toss in Blades of Glory or Anchorman 2.

  5. How could Dwayne Johnson play a not bulked up guy? I mean, I know actors often gain or lose weight for a role. But damn he would have to shed a whole lot of muscle to be anything else.

  8.  @anorganicpotato2729  depends on what you mean, nobody actually travelled in time, but it dealt with a sort of parallel reality, where time doesn't work the same. Memento didn't have anyone actually travelling in time either, it was just told in a sort of backwards way, digging up old memories. I never saw Tenet, but the other 3 mentioned all dive into perceptions of time other than what we experience.
