@aaronmedley7606 false accusations should carry the same legal penalty as the crime being accused. If I accuse you of stealing, and it's proven in court not only to be false, but that I knew it was false, then I'm convicted and sentenced the same as if I was found guilty of theft. Same for all accusations.

I used to always think that Johnny did a great job of pretending to be drunk when he played Captain Sparrow - now I realize he was probably pretending to be less drunk than he actually was.

Not likely, Hollywood is extremely based on public perception, even if he starts getting work again, there are a lot of people who are going to see him as the villain because of political ideology, and refuse to see the movies. It's a big risk for studios. And maybe I'm wrong, maybe that's a very small amount of people and even more people than that will support him because of how he's been dragged through the mud. But the fact that perception is even out there will make studios hesitant to take on that risk.

@Lexor888 well, I'm a former drunk, Depp is a drunk. And if someone asked me about a particular day 7 years ago, and asked if I had been drinking, my response would be I don't know, so probably yea. Because if I hadn't been, my response would probably be "holy shit, yea, I remember that night. I wasn't drunk at all."
