  1. ​ @babecat2000 slavery was the most important single issue, but it wasn't the only issue. And Lincoln was more concerned with preserving the union than anything else, he's famously quoted by saying he would have either ended or maintained slavery, if it meant preserving the union.

  2. ​ @syntheticreality549 not really. We often don't know about the bad things presidents did until years later, usually after they're dead. It is pretty presumptive to put any recent presidents on lists like this, we just don't know what their real legacy is yet.
