My #1 would be Rubber, just because I had to watch that movie twice just to figure out what the hell it was, and whether or not I even liked it. And I still don't know the answer to either of those questions.

Hey, yea, that's a good point. I think that franchise has made itself such a joke that people tend to forget or overlook how brilliant the original movie was. And the first sequel was pretty damn good too, as far as horror sequels go. And after that, they got..... Progressively worse.

@Jaypc06 yea if you're trying to do some kind of pull the rug out twist that comes out of nowhere, you probably don't want to try so hard early on in the movie to make sure everyone knows the white people are the villains. I think his political agenda got in the way of him telling a good story and having a good surprise ending.

How was Cloverfield unpredictable? I mean, I love that movie, not trying to hate. But I wouldn't really say unpredictable, it was pretty damn straight forward. "Holy shit, there's a monster! RARGH!!!!".

@Jaxson Worley I mostly lost interest around 5 or so, I've seen a few of the later entries, maybe even 6, but they all run together to me. Spiral wasn't bad. Ending kinda sucked, but it was overall a decent movie. But there's no denying the franchise has gone downhill as time has progressed.

Every 80s-early 90s action movie. And that's just fine. We love them anyway.

Now that you mention Identity, you reminded me of Frailty. That could be on a list like this too.

@blackguyofthesouth2161 I thought it was too, they really dug in hard to the "white people bad" narrative from the beginning of the movie, so it really tipped off the "twist" ending.

Rocky.

I think they've featured it on enough lists that they feel like it's kind of beating a dead horse. Although that same standard obviously doesn't apply to Get Out, but I have noticed they do generally try not to repeat the same movies too much in different lists.

@DJGamingSmash I think it's easy to think so now, after they've been out for some time and pretty much everyone has seen them. At least most people who are interesting in seeing them. It's always obvious in retrospect.

I thought it was terrible, not the worst movie ever, but definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen that was so hyped.

@swm91401 the whole movie was just "white people bad". It didn't really have a layer beneath that. The best thing I can say for it is that it was well put together, the acting and cinematography was all good. But the plot was shit.

@swm91401 yea, and I'm not even one to just shit on a movie because I'm ideologically opposed to the premise, but I just didn't think it was a good movie, seemed like they were focused on pushing an agenda first, and making a movie in the background.

@anders.sweden nothing wrong with being formulaic, if it's a good formula.
