The fact that I've seen almost all of these movies is making me seriously question my life choices. That said, How High and Grandma's Boy definitely deserve a higher ranking.

I think it's kind of a slow burn, for a lot of people it's better on a 2nd viewing, and a lot of people just don't really rewatch movies that much. In short, I guess it's just not for everyone. And I like it that way, that's kind of what makes a "cult classic", it's not really widely praised by everyone, but it's reallllllly beloved by a certain group of people.

@davedennison7386 well the list is "20 Funniest Stoner Comedies"...... So yea. It would be implied by you suggesting it for the list that you thought it was funny. It's either that or you just didn't pay enough attention to the video premise.

@davedennison7386 well in my defense you speak in a very weird and vague way, I have to kind of assume what you mean because you won't just come out and say it like a normal person.

@CuddLife it's a pretty loosely defined term, but it does mean something, it's generally a movie that wasn't initially met with critical or popular praise, but over time amasses pretty widespread appreciation. The Big Lebowski definitely fits into that definition, there is a damn religion born from it for gods sake. It might be the most literal definition of a "cult classic" that exists.

@andrewjones575 it wasn't exactly a box office smash if I'm not mistaken, and you can make the argument that a lot of the later Coen brothers films gained more notoriety because of the later fan praise of The Big Lebowski.
