You could make a list of this just with Jon Jones.

@IamRastaman2x eh, not as egregious as Jones though. Not defending Conor as far as his overall behavior and attitude, but as far as breaking the rules all I can really remember is grabbing the cage against Khabib. And everyone does that.

@DoodleBoB420 lmao, Conor isn't even close to the best, he's never even defended a title. It's not Khabib either, but he had a far more successful career than Conor. GSP is the GOAT.

To get a competitive advantage. Sports are all about getting an advantage over your opponent, sometimes the line between "fair" and "unfair" can get blurry. Not in the most egregious cases, and I'm not excusing or condoning it, but I understand why athletes cheat. Especially if you think you won't get caught. Pro athletes aren't wired like normal people, their drive for competition and their ego is larger than average. Sometimes ethics and good will go out the window in favor of winning.

I think it taints his legacy at least a little bit. And I don't think he was using for the majority of his career, I would have to guess he only started as he was aging, and probably after the leg break. But we really just don't know.

@Monkey_11 I never said he didn't, I just said it's not as bad as Jones. Jones has popped multiple times for PEDs, he eye pokes in practically every fight, he holds his opponents gloves, he's probably the dirtiest fighter in MMA history. With the possible exception of Gilbert Yvel. But that's apples to oranges, since Yvel wasn't nearly as successful or relevant as Jones.

@DoodleBoB420 oh oh, my bad. I guess I assumed you meant Conor bc of the replies. And eh, depends on how you feel about PEDs. If we're only looking at octagon performance and ignoring PEDs, I would agree, Jones is the best. But I think that taints his legacy.
