Lynn Strait, the vocalist from Snot died in a car accident not too long after their debut album. It was about as loved and influential as Korn, Slipknot, System of a Down and all the contemporaries back then at the gold rush of nu metal. It was tragic because they were really making their way in that scene, everyone loved the guys in the band too, they were on their way. There's a tribute album called "Strait Up" with the Snot band members playing with guest vocalists from all the big metal groups, you can feel the love because these guys really cared about Lynn, and were heartbroken when he died. Even Ozzy Osbourne.
