I've heard that Fat Mike from NOFX is not a particularly friendly person to most people, but pretty much everyone in the punk rock world has a certain respect and admiration for him. His bandmates must like him at least a little bit, because most them remained together for 30 years.

@RedPepper-Lynn a lot of them are also crazy artists with giant egos, and are just difficult to work with.

Sure there is, money. Some groups are in it for the music, some are in it for the fame. Most are a varying combination of both, but some are extreme on the fame side, they can play and tour with people they hate if it means getting that green and white and ass.

@tylergoodman3560 sounds good in theory but we're talking about hyper artistic people who spend huge amounts of time with each other. Most of them are a little crazy, and think of how many people you've known in your entire life that you can be around every day and still get along fine. It's not many people. Add the stress of touring and writing songs and all the rest, you can see why chemistry is such a hard thing for musical groups to capture and maintain, and why most have a few members leave here and there over the years.

@Vantage01 that's why "One More Time" by Blink 182 is such a great and powerful song, "strangers, into brothers, from brothers into strangers once again" is one of the most real lyrics ever, it's about how they got so close because they never expected to get so big at such a young age, that got blasted into stardom faster than very many musicians have ever experienced before. And then life happens, and you grow apart. And then they came back together.

@Pseedholm that was their loss, Megadeth is way better than Metallica, and Mustaine was always too good for that generic playground metal.

@flclfan85 but that's not Creed, it's Alter Bridge. It's like how Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden merged to form Audioslave, or Mudvayne and Nothingface forming Hell Yeah.
