I love laughing at them, because the jokes are hilarious, but I don't love them, you're not supposed to love them. If you know someone like one of those characters, in real life, get them the fuck out of your life. That's the point. Even if they're family, you keep a Brian, or a Lois, or a Quagmire at a distance. Never let them into your personal business.
