@algernopkrieger138 so you're so blinded by your hatred that you wish people suffer just so you can be right.

@jvilly11 you can prove me wrong by just explaining the tariffs. Be specific.

It has to get worse before it gets better. Yes, tariffs will raise prices in the short run, but it will force more jobs stateside, as opposed to the slow burn of the last several decades where more and more companies are manufacturing overseas, because of the cheap labor. This is the only way to start things going in the right direction, and no other politican has the spine to do it, because they know how it will look when prices go up. Things are so far gone now, someone has to jump on the grenade.

@theastonvillaseal585 yep. And it's pretty amazing how all the people who constantly shriek about corporate greed and human rights are against tariffs, because tariffs actually combat both of those things. It's cheaper to produce overseas because countries like China don't give a shit about human rights, and force starving 10 year olds to make all our cheap goods.

@theastonvillaseal585 and it's the people who always complain about corporate greed and human rights who are against tariffs. They can't think critically. Corporations are able to make cheaper goods overseas because China has no labor restrictions.

@jacobwalls1990 "voting against their best interests" is just leftist cope because they can't force everyone to be in their cult.

@jvilly11 so briefly explain Trump's tariff proposal for everyone in the chat, and compare that to the tariffs that were in place for Biden's term.
1
@jvilly11 that's simply untrue, there is no proposal for blanket tariffs on all imports.
1
@ochenochen3517 and a lot of the proposals are conditional tariffs, he's going to put tariffs on Mexico UNLESS they help to mitigate the immigration crisis. You can take a guess what they're going to decide, the US is Mexico's #1 importer. So this is what we call killing 2 birds with one stone.

@heisenberg684 Trump never proposed blanket tariffs on all foreign goods.
