I think Rocky deserves an honorable mention, even though Apollo isn't really a "bad" guy, he's actually a pretty good guy, he's just the antagonist, and you can really only loosely call it an action movie, more of a sports drama. But still, it's one of the best movies of all time where the good guy loses.

  2. Absolutely Anything, it's about a teacher who's given abilities by aliens to literally do anything he wants, like a god, as a test to see if humanity is generally good or generally evil. The protagonist is played by Simon Pegg, costarring Kate Beckinsale and Robin Williams voices his dog, it sounds great, has a great cast, could have gone in so many interesting directions. But it's just..... A bland, predictable rom-com.
