You People was genuinely one of the worst movies I've seen in years, it was pretentious garbage trying to be some kind of social commentary about racism, they bent over backwards trying to make sure the viewer knew the white people are the bad guys, and they ended up accidentally making the black characters even worse. The closest it ever came to being funny was that it was just so damn cringey and uncomfortable, it made you chuckle a little bit in a hopeless attempt to feel less awkward while watching it. Everyone involved in making that movie should reevaluate their life choices.

It was like Meet the Parents, but not funny and very racist.

Yea I thought it was really funny, had some good parts, but overall it was pretty formulaic, not great. It's definitely not bad though.

@alexsandriabastow oh Jesus, yes, that was disturbing and hilarious at the same time, that was definitely one of the weirdest MCU characters. I didn't mind it, I took it as them really digging their heels into it being more of a funny movie than a serious movie. My biggest problem was how they had Bill Murray in it for all of 5 minutes, and that was it, they never circled back around to that. I expected his character to be more important.

Cocaine Bear was amazing, wtf are you talking about? It's about a bear doing cocaine, so yea, it's pretty crazy. That's what you signed up for when you decided to watch a movie named "Cocaine Bear" though.

Ah it wasn't that bad. Definitely on the lower tier of MCU movies, but I wouldn't call it bad at all, it had it's moments.

@alexsandriabastow mostly just bc it's Bill Murray I guess? And they kinda made it seem like his character was more important, I guess it wasn't necessarily the screen time, but rather that I just kinda expected him to come back up later on in the movie. Like it seemed like that whole scene was pointless other than to say "look guys, it's Bill Murray! You like him, right!?" And then just never come back to it.

Yea I was a little disappointed there wasn't as much ass kicking dino action as I expected based on the trailer, it ended up being more of a sci-fi/drama, character based thing. It was still good though, I definitely wouldn't call it a bad movie, I just wanted it to go in a different direction.

@CodyFairlessLee yea that was what I thought too, based on the trailer, or like humans existed 65 million years ago but dinosaurs whooped our ass or something like that. I dunno, hard to put too much blame on the marketing because a movie like that, you don't want to give too much away. It just wasn't what I expected it to be.
