There should be a game show called "Ozempic, or Crystal Meth?", where contestants are shown a series of pictures, and they have to guess what made the person look like a half dead bullfrog.

@Rhond-i7r the whole concept of advertising drugs is insane, you aren't supposed to go to the doctor looking for a specific prescription, you're supposed to go because something is wrong, and you need a professional to diagnose you accordingly.

@tombarry1824 isn't it supposed to be prescribed for morbidly obese patients, temporarily? Given I'm not a drugocologist, but from my understanding it's primary purpose is to help with initial weight loss for people who are so overweight it's difficult for them to lose weight with diet and exercise alone. But that once they start consistently losing weight, they're supposed to come off of it and continue to lose weight through diet and exercise.

@ericaanderson387 there would be trick questions too, "we're sorry, that one is actually BOTH! Plus a large quantity of back yard moonshine! We never said they were all one or the other."

It will never stop amazing me how people keep jumping on the newest "get skinny without working" fad, despite the last 300 fads all having devastating side effects.

Same can be said for a lot of medications, unfortunately we live in a sick society, where most people are always looking for the easy way out, regardless of negative consequences.

@goldiebird4932 I'm old enough to remember when those OTC diet pills with epinephrine were all the rage, I'm willing to bet about half of the girls I knew in HS and college were taking them. There's always some quick weight loss fad, and it's always horribly unhealthy in the long term. People never learn, or they just don't care.
