I'm a vegetarian. I only eat chicken, seafood, and beef. No pork. I'm totally a vegetarian. I'm just ignoring what definitions mean and asserting what I want you to believe. Words are a social construct.

@RealMTBAddict someone legitimately tried to argue with me in a thread the other day, that vegetarians can eat meat sometimes. I wish I was making that up. That's the disconnect from reality we're dealing with right now. I don't even know how to argue against that, if you don't understand that being a vegetarian means you don't eat meat, like not sometimes, not certain meat, no meat, at all, ever..... There's really no words that can snap you back into reality.

@morrigankasa570 a fish is an animal. When you eat an animal, you are consuming flesh. By definition, you are not a vegetarian. You can consume dairy or eggs and still be a vegetarian, because that came from an animal, you are not consuming an animal. Let me know which part of this is difficult for you to understand.

@MChristianMan so if you really want to be pedantic, everyone is a vegetarian in between meals. But that's like calling yourself a non smoker in between cigarettes.

@Kitkat613 abstaining from all animal products is veganism. Abstaining from meat is vegetarianism. All vegans are vegetarians, by definition, but not all vegetarians are vegans.

@MChristianMan sure, you're a vegetarian as long as you aren't eating meat at all. But once you eat meat, you are not a vegetarian.

@Kitkat613 yes, all vegans are vegetarians, not all vegetarians are vegans. Please let me know what part of this statement is hard for you to understand. I can limit my speech to less than 5 letter per word if that helps.

@rauldelarosa2768 exactly, I can't believe this "debate" is even still going on, this is unreal. And I'm not even saying any of this as a good or bad thing, I don't care what people want to eat. Maybe you don't eat a lot of meat, great, good for you, but you aren't a vegetarian unless you don't eat any meat. I always say I don't dance, and that's mostly true, because I don't like to dance, but sometimes I'll bob my head or tap my foot to a song. That's technically dancing. So I can't really say I don't dance at all. I just don't dance much.

@markcdeyoung3118 my man, I don't think very many people realize how significant that Clinton quote was. It seems pretty silly and harmless when you look at it in a vacuum, but given the context of everything else Democrats have been doing for the last several decades, that was a brazen display of communist propaganda. Twist words. Distort reality. In the most basic and flagrant way possible, he was bringing the definition of a preposition into question. If they can control you so hard that you start to question basic sentence structure, they can make you believe absolutely anything. He wasn't just being a weasel politician, he was showing off.

@morrigankasa570 no, vegetarians do not eat fish. Fish is meat. It is the flesh of a dead animal. If you eat fish, you are not a vegetarian.

@morrigankasa570 there is no merit whatsoever, a vegetarian is a person that doesn't eat meat, a vegan is a person that doesn't consume any animal product. If you eat any meat at all, you are not a vegetarian. It's very clear cut, it is black and white, there is no debate, there is no nuance. You either eat meat, or you don't, and if you eat meat, ever, at all, you are not a vegetarian.

Leftists aren't smart enough to understand that freedom doesn't mean you get to do anything you want, all the time. Freedom means you handle your responsibilities so you can spend your remaining time doing what you want. Homeless people on the streets can do whatever they want, all the time, because they have zero responsibilities. But they're also some of the most restricted people in the world, because there's only a small number of things they can actually realistically do. They're slaves to their own vices. A free man has vices, like bills and work, but he takes care of those things regularly and consistently. And then the options of other things he can do expands.
