That feeling of being irrefutably right is intoxicating for a lot of people. So much so that they completely ignore all of logic and reasoning telling them that they're probably not actually irrefutably right about everything, and they're just in an echo chamber. They ignore that, because the feeling of self righteousness is more important.

@Coarvus the only reason I'll disagree with you there, is because the US and Israel have been close allies for many decades now, for pretty much the entire existence of Israel as a state. I don't like foreign wars one bit, but we do have an obligation to help our allies. That's the entire point of having allies. If we leave them high and dry when they need us most, that tells the rest of the world that we are not the nation to be allied with. Which is especially dangerous when we have BRIX gaining momentum and forming an alliance in direct opposition to the US and our allies.

@xenosayain1506 getting fired isn't the same as legal punishment though. You have a legal right to call your boss a fat dickhole, but I wouldn't advise it. Because he has the right to fire you, even if he really is a fat dickhole.

@xenosayain1506 yes, employers should have the right to fire employees for supporting Trump. I don't like it, I think it's appalling to fire someone for a belief that has nothing to do with their work, but employers should have the right to fire employees just because they feel like it. And if you have a problem with that, then you should get better at working. So your boss won't want to fire you, even if they don't like you.

@xenosayain1506 yea parts of the civil rights act went too far. People having equal protection under the law is a good, freedom minded position, but you don't have a right to have a job just because you want one. You have a right to base level treatment while you're at your job, but you also have to do something to make yourself valuable. If someone fires all their Trump supporters and wants to have a staff made up of only Trump hating leftists, good luck with that, little fella. It would take the work of 300 leftists to fill the role of 5 regular people.
