  1. I'm old enough to remember when people got fired from their jobs just because they suck. Barely. I'm 38, I think I was entering the workforce right around the time everything was collapsing, and leftist ideology was making it where everyone has a "right" to whatever they want, just because they want it. I worked a delivery driver for Papa John's when I was in college, drivers got fired all the time just because they were slow, the store manager had no problem saying so either when people would ask why they're not on the schedule. "Because you're slow, we don't need you." Simple as that. These days employers generally don't fire anyone unless they have enough of a paper trail to avoid a lawsuit. It's a big reason people suck at working. They don't have to be good, they just have to do the bare minimum.
