This is the inevitable result of universal voting rights. Once people start voting for whoever promises the most free stuff, no matter how outlandish or nonsensical it is, the government has complete control.

We've completely lost our principles as a culture. Up until recently, neither political side would support this kind of legal weaponization, because we all understood that the blade we use against our enemy can be used against us too. This is just sheer stupidity by the left.
