Yedolf well she's also my ex girlfriend, so I thought so at one point. But after I discovered she's an evil sea creature, she started to look like an actual sea creature to me.

@BlyGuy I don't doubt that the referees know they're supposed to be favorable towards the Chiefs, but they can't just hand it to them, that would be too obvious. There's going to be a handful of close calls, there always are. So they can swing those to favor a certain team, but that's not a guarantee, especially not with the 2 best football teams in the world.

@catherinehanson1106 Vegas cares about their money, that's all. They don't like underdogs winning, they lose when underdogs win. I haven't looked at the betting odds yet, but I would have to guess the 49ers are favored, they had a better regular season record and a higher seed. Vegas betting odds are usually pretty accurate, because they don't play favorites based on politics or anything like that, they do their homework and pick favorites based on who is most likely to win.

@jonathanpasch6604 make up calls aren't fair, that's just an incompetent official trying to even out their incompetence. If you miss a call, and you know you missed a call, you don't miss another one to favor the other team, you pull your head out of your ass and stop missing calls.

@brianle8394 of course they do, because people win less money when the favorite wins. They don't care about people winning back a little money, that's going to happen. What Vegas doesn't want is fewer people cashing in big on an underdog.

It could have started organically, but they're going to stay together for the PR. And there's not even really anything shady or corrupt about that on the surface, celebrities pair with other celebrities all the time, it's just a smart career move.
