  1. My stepmom is in her 70s and never had kids, my wife and I have a 5 month old baby. And she loves that baby like it's her own, she comes to visit as much as she can. My dad died earlier this year, my mom the year before, so she's his only grandparent on my side of the family. She's never said it, but I know there's a part of her that regrets never having kids of her own.
