@LoneCloudHopper what do you mean? My comments get removed all the time, I've had about a dozen accounts deleted in the last year. I guess maybe I'm better at avoiding naughty words now, lol. When I actually care. Worst case scenario is I get deleted again and just create a new account again.

@krismikewill to which a logical person would respond, "ok, so why did you leave in the first place, douche face?". But he's not talking to logical people. He's talking to easily manipulated stupid people, who need to know he left in the first place before they care that he came back. The same kind of people who get excited about a pro wrestling face becoming a heel, and buy the next WrestleMania PPV, only for him to go right back to being a face.

@egobrain6826 I can't figure out how they're determining this new form of shadow banning. Makes no sense at all. It's almost like it's just a randomized ratio, like 1/3 comments are hidden from any given viewer, it's weird as hell, because a lot of times if someone pins a comment to me, I can read it in my direct notifications, but if I go to scroll through whole thread, that comment isn't there.

@ObservingLibertarian really pokes a lot of holes in the "white privilege" thing, doesn't it? Seems like people would be pretending to be white if it were so socially advantageous, and absolutely nobody would pretend to be black......

@BRockIITWi the only reason their ideas even have enough oxygen to breathe is because powerful institutions have taken considerable effort to silence opposing views. In a healthy political discourse, their ideas won't even exist anymore, because they're stupid. It's like a board meeting for car tires, and some genius decides tires should be triangular instead of round. He has the right to have that idea. But it's a stupid idea. Every other board member will say "no, shut up David, that idea is stupid, it was stupid the last time you said it, it's gonna be stupid the next time you said it", and his triangle wheel idea is never going to gain any more steam than that.

@BRockIITWi I'm not suggesting anyone be silenced, I'm only (accurately) stating that leftist ideas will go away on their own if they're forced to stand up to scrutiny. Not immediately, most of these numbnuts are so fully indoctrinated that they'll never change their mind, but when other people see how stupid their ideas really are, leftism will stop growing. And a lot of people will start to leave the left after that, practically no new people will join the left. I don't think anyone in this thread is suggesting they be silenced by force. And I don't think you're actually reading what anyone is saying, you already have your own idea of what you want people to say and you're arguing against that imaginary position that you invented in your head.

@egobrain6826 no they definitely delete accounts, I haven't had it happen in a while but I've gone to open yt and it just shows a message that my account has been deleted due to violating TOS. Happened to me all the damn time right before and after the 2020 election, but I think it's been about 6 months since the last time. But, in the last month or so they've been hiding a lot of comments. On pretty much every comment thread, there's fewer comments than the number it says when you click on the thread, I can always read my own comments, but there's a lot of others that are hidden.

@egobrain6826 well maybe I misread what you were saying, and wouldn't ya know it, the comment I was replying too isn't visible to me anymore, so I can't reread it. I don't know why this other loon in the thread thinks I'm somehow part of the censorship problem though, I'm agreeing that it's a problem. Somehow they got it in their paranoid head I'm a bot or something I guess?
