  2. Yea you're definitely overthinking, this isn't the jailing of political enemies like Democrats advocate for, this is the jailing of elected officials that have clearly broken the law. They still deserve a fair trial, where it will be shown beyond a reasonable doubt that they have been blatantly violating immigration law for years.
