The whole "leftists are the real racists" thing has become a meme, and it's generally not very useful to any discussion - but that doesn't mean it's not true.

@quinnbeasley94 I disagree, the racism isn't what makes their ideology wrong, it's just one aspect of it. You don't want to get sucked into arguing about who's the real racist, that's what they want. That's the entire point of them weaponizing accusations of racism, it's just a distraction to keep people from actually pressing them on how bad their ideas are.

@strategery101 they went full on terrorist sympathizer in a heartbeat🤣🤣🤣 so deranged. If you really have to pick a side, you could either say the Israeli people, or the Palestinian people. "Hamas good" is the absolute most unhinged side you could possibly take.

@ukar69 I think a lot of people do know that, the accusations of Russian support are just an easy and convenient way of avoiding any legitimate criticism of their hair brained positions. It's the same as when they call you racist, they don't really think you're racist, or being racist. It's just the easiest way to shut down actually engaging in a discussion, that way they can feel like they're right and pat themselves on the back.

I always point this out to insane leftists that claim the Overton window has shifted right. Conservatives 10 years ago: abortion is wrong. Liberals 10 years ago: abortion is wrong, but sometimes a better option. Conservatives today: abortion is wrong. Liberals today: abortion is fine, no moral implications whatsoever. Kill the baby. And you can apply this to pretty much any hot button topic. The right is where we used to be, the left has gone further left.

@bonniebluebonnet and if you tell them you like cats, they'll scream at you for hating dogs. They have no principles whatsoever, the only thing a leftist cares about is power. I was arguing with one earlier today about hate crime laws, and said that I didn't think they were legitimate legal arguments, and they told me if it's written into law, it's legitimate. So I asked them about Jim Crow, and they said that was legitimate too, while it was a law, because all laws are legitimate. Not very progressive, right? But they don't care. A progressive will instantly bend on all their supposed principles if they think it means winning an argument. They're really that petty.

@Tunahater I think pretty much everyone knows the media lies, some people are just so delusional they think the media only lies about things they don't like, and always tells the truth about things they do like.
