@erick__97 well, average gay people should speak up and speak louder. There's a reason the right isn't moving to the extreme the same way the left is, because normal conservative and libertarian people don't have a problem calling out the nasty people on the right, we're not as tribal as the left. People who are more closely aligned speaking out will always have more impact than people strongly opposed, I can tell a leftist they're going too far left, it's completely meaningless, but if other leftists were to tell them the same, they would be more likely to listen. Likewise, as a gay man, your voice will have more impact than any straight white conservative saying the exact same thing. I don't like this either, it's stupid, but it's the world we live in.

And they'll muddy the waters to manipulate stupid people by extending the definition of grooming, they'll say "everyone is a groomer, because teaching your kids morals and values is grooming, so teaching them anything you want is the same thing!" And cowards and stupid people go along with it, because the logic checks out if you don't really think about it. But any decent human knows the difference between teaching a kid math and teaching them about adult topics they can comprehend at their age.
