I noticed it about 20 years ago, when I did a college project that required me to watch various news networks. It wasn't nearly as bad and blatant back then, but I still noticed the bias and purposeful misrepresentation of stories. They use sneaky language to make you think something without actually saying that thing. Climate change is the best example, they just say that over and over again, and talk about man made climate change specifically, to shift your perception into conflating the 2 different things, so people will say things like "I don't believe in climate change", to make them seem like a nutbag, because the climate absolutely does change over time, that's a fact. The only thing that's disputed is the extent of man made changes.

If there's any justice system left in the rubble, all those wrongfully imprisoned or kept for an excessive amount of time without a fair trial, should sue the balls off the government and never have to work another day in their lives.

@triangleofdeath6246 yea, the main thing that's changed is that it's become trendy to be more outspoken about your politics. As recently as maybe 20 years ago, people generally kept that shit to themselves. Generally, I'm aware liberals are always going to be more vocal than conservatives, but it's gotten a lot worse as of around 2000ish. It used to be at least somewhat controversial when celebrities took a firm political position, these days it's a job requirement, and you have to take one particular position. So yea, they've always been crazy, they're artists, but we didn't see this level and type of outward crazy until politics became so crazy.
