@AJ........ democrats and republicans didn't do that, the American people did. Most people won't vote 3rd party because they care about their team winning more than they care about voting for who would be best for the nation.

@AJ........ people can hear whatever they want on the internet. Sure it takes some work, but anyone who watches 5 minutes of corporate media every other day and thinks they're informed is an idiot. That's on them, nobody else. I'm not trying to give slimy politicians a pass and say they did nothing wrong, I'm only saying we let them do that, don't get mad at the lion for being a lion, don't get mad at the politician for being a politician. You're supposed to know what they are and take the necessary precautions accordingly.

@ronaldpitts8419 that's not really a direct comparison though, since pretty much everyone agrees that child abuse is bad, not everyone agrees that abortion is bad. I do, I think it's reprehensible, but you have to also understand that a lot of people don't share that opinion. So that's just not an effective argument if you're speaking to someone who doesn't even have the same baseline that abortion is a bad thing.

I have nightmares about Passengers, I mean, the fact that movie got produced, directed, and released, and not a single person said "hey guys, this is shit, maybe we shouldn't unleash this on the world" makes me lose what little faith in humanity I had remaining.

Gotta keep in mind, celebrities are so insulated from normal person problems, they're essentially adult sized children. They can just buy their way out of any problem normal people have to face, and they surround themselves almost exclusively with other celebrities, so they don't even realize how abnormal their life experience is.

Sub if you are against antifa and BLM oh I know, the loonie left has pushed me all the way to the pro life side too, I used to be closer to the middle on it. All I was saying was that the other person's argument was weak, you can't start from a point of assuming abortion is bad when you're talking to someone who doesn't think abortion is bad, you have to convince them why it's bad first.

@DadsCigaretteRun Yep, that's exactly why it was so terrible, there were several directions they could have gone that would have made it at least interesting, but nope, they decided to go with the creepy stalker route. And in the least interesting way possible.
