Salties get all the attention, because they're giant, and terrifying, but freshies are also terrifying in a completely different way, they evolved to have unusually long legs for a crocodilian, because the salties dominate the waters, since they're so big. Freshies are also called "inland crocodiles", because they're far more adept at hunting on land, they can actually chase down prey and aggressively capture them, most crocodilians are ambush hunters. I dunno about you but a moderately big crocodile running at 40mph, with a hell of a lot more endurance than you would expect is just about as scary as an ungodly giant crocodile that's probably not going to mess with you out of aggression.
