  1.  @ricksanchez1079  this is one of the very rare occasions where I find myself on the side of a journalist, because this is a no brainer. The state of media and journalism is absolute garbage, but the principle of having a free press is still extremely important, nobody should be killed or even fear for their life for doing journalism.

  4. Even if the journalist is lying, the rational response from the politician would be to expose the lies, not kill him. Killing him only makes it look like whatever he was saying is valid, whether or not it is.
