@freedomscale2957 simple doesn't mean stupid in this context, it just means men tend to look past meaningless nonsense and focus on necessity. Not as an absolute, we're just generally more focused on the core needs in life, and women are generally more focused on all the superfluous stuff. It's why when we're single, we usually live in a very basic home with 3 forks and 2 towels, because you don't need a bunch of other nonsense. Then, when we meet a new girlfriend and she moves in, she decorates and "turns the house into a home" so to speak.

It's projection. When she asks you if you're mad about some stupid nonsense, and you say no, because it was just stupid nonsense, what she hears is that you are mad but you don't want to say you're mad, because you want to make them guess why you're mad as some kind of bizarre test. Because she would be mad about the stupid nonsense, but she would say she's not mad, because she wants to make you guess why she's mad as some kind of bizarre test.

@indepthmike5578 you should make a note to go in silence for at least some of the day, turn off all your devices. I used to be the same as you, turned the TV or YouTube on as soon as I get home just to have something on, even if I'm not really watching it. But I've been trying to go without for at least a little while a day, you would be surprised how much more clear your head is.

Never trust anyone that feels uncomfortable in silence, they have something to hide. Same with people who put ketchup on hot dogs, and people who wear sunglasses indoors or at night. I'm giving free life wisdom here, drink it up everyone.
