  2.  @wtf1231122  yep. Look at this country since around the 1950s, maybe even before then. We've consistently and rapidly gone in a more socialist direction, more regulations, higher taxes, more entitlements. More protections for the worker and less protections for the employer. Everyone is entitled to something, and they act surprised when that comes with a price. Back when working class people could afford a home and a family, it was because they actually had to work for it. There were no safety nets or shortcuts, working 40 hours a week meant really working, not sitting at a desk and playing on your computer for 7 hours a day, maybe squeezing in an hour of real productivity a day.

  3. Imagine if humans for the majority of history had this kind of entitled attitude. A farmer 100 years ago wasn't worried about whether he was getting fairly treated and compensated for his work, he was just thinking about growing enough crops so his family could survive the winter.

  4. I'm the same age as you, and my job hires a lot of part time help in the summer, usually 18-25 range. And I feel your pain. Know it all, pretentious, lazy, entitled, it's such a pain in the ass. They think they have the whole world figured out even though their own life is a mess.

Leftism is the virus that's always held us back. Some generations in some nations just have a more serious leftism infection than others.
