@GlyphidGuard what do you think life was like before colonialism? Everyone was a slave in one way or another. A small handful of royalty enslaved their entire nation, either directly or indirectly through serfdom. 100% of colonized nations are in a better situation now than their counterparts that weren't colonized, or had a more brief period of occupation. I know it's not pretty, I know it's not the most ideal circumstances, but colonization was a net gain for the world, objectively.

@GlyphidGuard so would they be better off as naked spearmen?

@markotrieste what if the cure is worse than the disease?

@SMHman666 are you really using China as an example of "unbound capitalism"? The largest communist country in world history? And even the other examples you gave aren't "unbound", they have taxes and heavy regulations on businesses. That's not "unbound" capitalism. You can even make a solid argument that the US is more socialist than capitalist, the US has above average corporate taxes and one of the most expansive welfare states in the world.

@GlyphidGuard it's so damn exhausting seeing people cry about colonialism online all day, it's such a reductive and small minded view, it would be like if you offered a job to a homeless person and got him off the streets, and 6 months later he's having trouble paying bills and just kinda stuck in the rat race a lot of working class people are. Sure, those problems suck, but he would have still been on the streets or dead without you introducing him to a better way of life. You did a good thing for him, even if the end result isn't paradise.

Where is there "unbound capitalism"? Seriously. Point to one country in the world that has a capitalist economy, "unbound".
2
@SMHman666 the government interfering in the market is the opposite of capitalism. You do not know what words mean. That's what makes you so easy to manipulate.
2
@soulcleaner3578 because regulation just gives more power to the government. Every time lefties whine about capitalism, they're not actually complaining about capitalism, they're complaining about corruption due to government overreach, and your solution is more government overreach.
2
@ShubhamMishrabro that's just plain wrong, countries that were colonized are in significantly better condition than before they were colonized, and better condition than other countries that weren't colonized. This is irrefutably true.
2
@ShubhamMishrabro you're just making assertions based on your biased opinion, you have no data or logic to back up your claims.
2
How does it feel walking around on that BLOOD LEG all day long? 🤣Jk jk, don't fall for that collective guilt bullshit. That's just part of how leftists control stupid people with a guilty conscience.

@piotrswat169 lmao, Mugato expands his child exploitation business into the DRC, and employs Derrick as a spy, due to his experience both as a male model, and in the coal mines with his family for about half a day🤣🤣🤣 Zoolander 3: A Miner Mishap

@piotrswat169 yea, 2 was pretty bad, it had some funny moments just because it was so absurd, and the actors are all really funny, but it didn't even come close to having the absurdity mixed with satire like the first one did. It was just absurd.

DRC is a socialist country.

And the people who look for racism under every rock would accuse you of racism, simply for saying non white people should be held to the same standard as everyone else.

@ShubhamMishrabro so follow that bias that you know you have, and see what other blind spots you must have in your ideological bias.
