@zumurudlilit capitalism makes no claims of utopia, it just means that you're free to seek compensation for your labor or services.

@yendevus1747 the US is #10 in obesity, and #4 in diabetes. That's obviously not great, but not #1 in either.

@arkoa0000 just a quick search, American Somoa is #1 in obesity rate, China is #1 in diabetes rate. And some of these numbers can be misleading, most of the top in obesity are island nations that are mostly ethnically Samoan, and Samoan people have a genetic disposition to retaining calories. So an obese Samoan probably isn't as unhealthy as an obese European or African, their bodies are built to sustain that. And I don't take any statistics coming from China to heart, since they lie about everything, but at the same time they have no reason to lie to make themselves look bad. So take that as you will.

 @WraithOfMan and it's funny how all the people who make those claims only want other people to pay higher taxes and give away their property. Never themselves.
