  2. I think what he meant is that "race" is sort of a junk term, from a scientific perspective. Obviously people have genetic differences based on ethnicity, but those lines really aren't that clearly drawn, and there's a lot of grey area and overlap. You can group people by racial or ethnic categories to some extent, and subcategories, and so on and so on, but there are always going to be enough outliers that you can't really draw rigid lines.

  5. That's actually exactly why race is such a nebulous term, so many people have mixed genetic lineage that you can't really draw any clearly defined lines on a large enough scale.

  10. There's an easy way to tell whether a "that wasn't real communism/fascism" excuse is legitimate or not - if the people who support the movement think it's fascism, it's probably fascism. If people leave because it doesn't seem very fascist, then it's not real fascism.
