Some of that is probably just getting older too, whether you care about economics or not, economics cares about you. That stupid shit follows you everywhere. You can't ignore it forever.

@limitlessapocalypse2702 what has he been wrong about?

ANARCHY!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, BUT I LIKE IT!!!

But what happens when one faction obtains land without force, but then another faction tries to obtain their land through force?

@BurtReynolds-qp1jk found the socialist🤣

This is true, your political views inform your economic views, and vice versa. A lot of people hold some nonsensical, contradictory views on these topics, but generally speaking, there's a strong relationship between the 2.

I consider myself pretty libertarian, and pretty extreme in favor of a free market, but not to the absolute extreme on either. If there was a scale of 1-10, to be as reductive as possible, I'm probably an 8 on the libertarian scale, and a 9 on the free market scale. I could go for anarcho capitalism on a small scale, but it just wouldn't scale up very effectively. Still more reasonable than anarcho communism, that's not even a thing, anyone who claims to be ancom is either lying or extremely stupid. Probably both.

Marx legitimately might have been more racist than Hitler. It's freaking hilarious that he's the lord and savior for self proclaimed "anti-racists".

@colebehnke7767 well if there's one thing we learned from covid, it's that a lot of people want to be spanked and told they're naughty by daddy government.

Yea he really does a good job of breaking down complex topics into an easy to understand summary, and then goes into further detail. That's really not easy to do, you have to have an extremely keen understanding of a topic to tear it apart in your own words and make it easier to understand for a layman.

@BurtReynolds-qp1jk a socialist would say it's the workers owning the means of production. A regular person would say it's extreme wealth redistribution, enforced by extreme authoritarian government. Because that's what it really is.

So you don't care who's in charge, except when you do?

@TheImperatorKnight that was kinda what I figured, that's why I asked. Funny how the ideologically captured nut jobs can never give an example of what someone was wrong about, when they're completely demoralized, they can no longer tell the difference between someone being objectively wrong, and just having an opinion they don't like. To them, having an opinion they don't like IS wrong.

I don't think they're quite as dumb as communists, at least ancap could exist in theory, it would just be a complete disaster. Ancom can't even exist in theory, it makes no sense whatsoever. Being anarchist and communist at the same time is like being a giraffe and a bowl of soup at the same time. It's impossible. You can't be both.

@BurtReynolds-qp1jk you just said the same thing in slightly different words and pretended like it was 2 different things. That wordplay doesn't work on me, I'm not one of your idiot socialist friends. You're all scum.

That is one of the biggest problems with a true anarchist state, in the absence of an official governing body, they guy with the most guns and money becomes the governing body. Until someone with more guns and more money comes along.
