It seems like he's trying to make them expose themselves through discovery. They'll have to disclose more information about the bot accounts.

@patchwurk6652 if it can be proven that they fraudulently overvalued their company, they can be sued into the next solar system by other people and companies that bought ad space.

You seem to be one of the only people in this comment section who has any idea what this is shaping out to be. And neither of us really have it all figured out, but I thing you're along the right lines. Seems like Elon wanted this to go to court all along, even if it was through him being sued by Twitter. They're going to have to disclose more information in discovery.

@GuyMcDudeman from what it seems to me, this could actually be catastrophic for Twitter, if it's shown that they knew about the inflated numbers they could stand to get sued into oblivion by companies who bought ad space under the presumption that the company is actually far more valuable than they actually are. And that could be the plan all along. Elon did say he was going to "fix" Twitter. Wouldn't it be the most hilarious twist in history if "fixing" them just means torching the entire company?🤣🤣🤣 I mean, let's be real. I think just about everyone can agree that society would probably be better off without social media, or at least if so many people weren't hopelessly addicted to it and could just use it in moderation.
