  5. ​ @donalvarez4006 I talked to a retired history teacher once, he said that his promise he made to himself for his entire career was to teach without his own personal bias, and to test that he asked the class at the end of the semester to guess his political affiliation. If they ever had a nearly unanimous consensus correct, he would have retired that year. They never did, he retired in his 60s. That is how history should be taught. You can teach kids the facts about what happened without injecting your personal opinions about the good guys and bad guys. The fact that you don't understand this concept is an indictment of you.

  8. Teach the controversy at an appropriate age, and don't teach theories as though it's fact. Gender theory is not a fact, it's an extremely outlandish theory that's only embraced by a small fringe of whackos. It's ok to be taught, but it should be only in elective courses at a college or high school level, where the teacher is up front with the fact that it's just a theory.

  11. In high school or college, they can teach elective courses that dive into theories. But that's what gender theory is. It's not fact. It's a theory. It shouldn't be taught as fact, and it sure as hell shouldn't be taught to elementary school kids at all.

At least flat earth isn't as vague, and doesn't open a flood gate to a whole host of other nonsensical ideas.
