@AshleyHammargren living on the streets isn't safe either.

There are shelters in every major city.
5
So turn off politics. The world will go on without you.
3
@GlutenEruption sure, Kyle definitely wouldn't lie to you🤣
3
@mcdonald1743 you don't get to live anywhere you want and do whatever you want though. That's a violation of other people's rights.
3
@Uhnonimaus if they refuse to go to a shelter, sure. At least they'll have air conditioning and regular meals. It's better than living on the streets.
2
@mcdonald1743 I'm on the side of freedom, as in the freedom to make bad choices and deal with the consequences. You're the one trying to force people who have jobs to take care of you because you're too lazy to work.
2
@StinkCabbage most of the ones living on the streets are though. There are shelters everywhere, they could live there for free, free meals and air conditioning. Obviously it's not an ideal environment, but it's better than the streets. Most of the people living on the streets choose that, because they have drug addictions.
2
@finderskeepers1993 jail is better than living on the streets.
2
@jj947 houses cost money to build and maintain. You aren't entitled to other people's labor.
1
@jj947 ever heard of leading by example? Hard to take people seriously when all they do is tell everyone else what should be done, and don't take any initiative themselves.
1
@whensomethingcriesagain in other words, you don't want to do anything, you just want to make other people do it. Exactly as I said.
1
@jj947 so open up a progressive affordable housing unit, with mental health services. Nobody is stopping you.
1
@whensomethingcriesagain so you just want to force individuals to give their money to the government, so the government can do it? Brilliant strategy. I'm sure they'll spend all of our money on the homeless, and won't keep a single dime for themselves. Government has a reputation for being honest🤣
1
@jj947 so why haven't they? You believe in "democracy", right? Why haven't the people democratically voted for your preferred policies?
1
@whensomethingcriesagain if individuals don't care enough to fix the problem, why do you expect the government to? When is the last time the government cared about you?
1
@jj947 that's what you idiots are doing, I'm the one recognizing that the government is comprised of people, just like you and me. You can't demand that they "care" more when you don't give a shit.
1
@whensomethingcriesagain you sure make a lot of excuses for why you don't live by your principles. I see the indoctrination is strong with you.
1
@jj947 the government is comprised of people.
1
@jj947 you worship the government like it's God.
1
@jj947 ok, so lobby your progressive representatives and tell them to provide more services for the homeless. Your policies are super popular, right? Right?
1
@jj947 nothing you've said has demonstrated anything other than my original assertion, that none of you actually give a single goddamn about the homeless. All you want to do is wag your finger at people on the internet and claim some fictional moral superiority.
1
@jj947 how am I defending the government? I'm saying you shouldn't depend on them, you should do something yourself. This really isn't a difficult concept. Of course if you actually cared, and you weren't just trying to get more free handouts for yourself, you would already have been helping homeless people. Nobody is stopping you.
1
@jj947 because a nation without defense isn't a nation at all. Same reason we need border security. NEXT QUESTION🤣
1
@jj947 because that's their job, they work for us. It's not their job to give you a free house.
1
@jj947 yes, because that's the job they signed up for. Nobody signed up to give their time and labor for free to people who can't pay for a house. You're welcome to if you want. But we both know you won't. You just want someone else to do it.
1
@jj947 paid by us, because they're government employees. And we already pay millions of dollars for this kind of stuff, there are still droves of homeless people in liberal cities. Why isn't it working? We just aren't spending enough?
1
@jj947 my solution is to stop coddling people, and remind adults that you have a responsibility as an adult, to be an adult. You can house homeless people if you care so much. Otherwise, stop pretending like you care. Because you clearly don't.
1
@jj947 you're the one trying to use the military as a false equivalence, I never even brought it up. Damn you suck at this.
1
@jj947 you're the one who keeps trying to use the military as a false equivalence. Try to keep up here.
1
@jj947 they don't work, they sit on their asses on our dime.
1
@jj947 you've demonstrated that you've never personally done a damn thing in your life to actually make society better, just like all leftists.
1
@jj947 you've demonstrated that you have average leftist IQ - 25.
1
@StinkCabbage name one major city in the US that doesn't have at least one homeless shelter.
1
@StinkCabbage that wealth and decadence is what lead to so many people giving up on life to the point where they would rather do drugs on the streets than accept help and go to a shelter.
1
@StinkCabbage and what the hell have you ever done in your life to help someone else? And no, crying on the internet doesn't count. I'm sure if you ask your mom extra nicely, she'll let a homeless friend stay in her basement with you.
1
Kyle's comment section is like if Sadness from Inside Out had a blog🤣 freaking hilarious, what a bunch of whiny losers.
1
@vietimports it's better than living on the streets.
1
@vietimports so how many homeless people are living with you?
1
Says the privileged person watching internet videos on their iPhone, not actually doing anything to help the homeless in their area.
