@_robinmc__-thesteve5380 I mean, I'm not the expert, I've probably watched maybe 3 of his videos total. Watched a lot more response videos. So I'm not gonna be that guy who pretends to be the expert without actually watching him. But my immediate impression of him was about as negative as an immediate impression can possibly get.

Too little too late now. After years of abuse, most of the young men the left has alienated will never want any part of what the left is doing. Even if you try to reach out to them now, it's going to come across as just an attempt to add another tribe to your push for power. Because that's exactly what it is.

It's pretty easy to be in the progressive club, just whine and cry all day and blame all your problems on some invisible entity working against you. Nothing is ever your fault, it's always someone else's fault, and it's always someone else's responsibility to fix everything bad that's ever happened to you. That's progressivism. Oh yea, and always pretend like you actually want to help someone else, because you're so empathetic and altruistic, but you actually only care about personal gain.

@_robinmc__-thesteve5380 Not an excuse to be an insufferable prick. And btw, conservatives don't think climate change is fake, when people say "climate change hoax" or anything similar, they mean that the left is using it as a tool for power. Because they are, that is irrefutably true. Everyone knows climate change is real, some people are just skeptical about how much of it is due to human intervention, and what practical measures can and should be done about it.

@_robinmc__-thesteve5380 Yes, because of the political messaging and propaganda of the left, people often conflate climate change and man made climate change. If you were to get into detail and ask the same professor if they believe the climate changes due to axis shifts, and the irregularity of Earth's orbit, among other factors, I guarantee they would say of course it does. Because everyone knows the climate changes over time. What they mean when they say they don't believe in climate change is that they don't believe climate change is due to cow farts and F350s.

@_robinmc__-thesteve5380 Personally I don't doubt that human interaction has had a negative effect on the environment, I'm sure it has. But I'm highly skeptical that it's as severe as the left wants to say, mostly because their motivations are very clearly more about political power than the environment. I don't trust them as far as I can throw a whale. I definitely think it's a good idea to be environmentally conscious, try to reduce consumption, properly dispose of waste, all of that. Nothing bad can come from it, not only for environmental reasons but also for your own wallet and personal health. But I don't need or want the government to force me to. Most conservatives are actually far more environmentally conscious than most liberals. I sure as hell don't think socialism is going to fix anything, if anything socialism would just make everything worse, because of the inherent inefficient nature of government oversight, we would be increasing waste and resource consumption per capita. Sure, a lot of people would be starving to death and being put into death camps. So I guess socialism would reduce net emissions that way, sort of. But you can't possibly be so daft that you believe what the left is selling as far as climate change. They're not even trying to put of the appearance of honesty anymore.

@_robinmc__-thesteve5380 I mean the average liberal or leftist has an exponentially larger carbon footprint than the average conservative. This is a proven fact. This trend goes for basically everything political, the left talks, the right acts.

@historicalaccuracy15 there are hardly any right wing authoritarians, that's almost exclusively coming from the left. The left is just really good at obscuring that by taking the most absurd interpretation of what right wingers say and doing the whole "well, he didn't say that, but we all know what he really means. And leftists just go along with it, because of confirmation bias.
