The shooter was nonbinary, a regular at the club. By your own logic, your ideology is responsible.

Being detained isn't the same as being arrested. This is standard procedure, same thing happens in any self defense case, they can't just let you go because you say it was self defense. For all they know you could be the assailant, and you already killed the person who tried to stop you in self defense.

I wonder if Kyle is gonna mention that the shooter was nonbinary, and a regular at the club. Hmm..... Commenting before the video starts. But I already know I'm not wrong. I'll admit if I am.

@sharonpopolow6874 how would you expect those kind of incidents to be handled then? If there's a shooting, and the shooter claims it was self defense, the police can't just take your word for it. If it's a home invasion then it can be pretty cut and dry, you just confirm that it's actually the shooters house and then things become pretty clear. But what about domestic incidents? I actually knew someone who killed her husband in self defense, but she was arrested and detained, she ended up being let go once they pulled the records and saw all the previous calls for him abusing her and their son. No charges. But I really don't know what world you think we live in where simply being detained is somehow wrong, if you're innocent, you won't be charged.

@Eshu666 not a lie. Sorry it doesn't fit into the political narrative you want to uphold.
3
@CodyMe I'm not the one that tries to turn every shooting into an attack at your political enemies. That's you. Now soak in how wrong you were and really simmer on that. You tried to use the deaths of innocent people to demonize the entire right side of politics in your home country, and you weren't even right about the facts. I hope you really reflect on that and ask yourself if this is the person you really want to be.

@imdanthompson he was a suspect at that point. You're using the benefit of hindsight, the police didn't know that at the time. I'm sure it was traumatic, but being detained and handcuffed isn't really the bad part compared to what had already happened. Police were just doing their job.
2
@imdanthompson they still can't take anyone's word for it. You're aware that it's illegal to leave the scene of an accident, right? Even if it's not your fault, police still have the right to detain you just for questioning, so they know what happened. This is pretty standard stuff. There are all sorts of reasons police can detain someone that have nothing to do with that person committing a crime, or even being suspected of committing a crime. It's really no big deal, and sure, maybe handcuffs were excessive, I wasn't there, I don't know the situation. I'm also not a smartass leftist who pretends to be an expert on everything, so I have the humility to understand that I don't know this situation. But I do know that police merely detaining someone is not some kind of miscarriage of justice or grave strike against human rights. You're just letting your bias cloud your judgement.

@CodyMe woah, woah, woah.... I thought we were supposed to just take people at face value when it comes to their "lived experience". You're not a transphobe, are you?
2
@x7y2k12 it was all right there in the trial. Propagandists like Kyle won't talk about it, because they know you're too stupid to look anywhere besides far left propaganda. Even CNN admitted it.

@Hipfireturtle nobody is saying the crime is any better or worse because the shooter was nonbinary, we're pointing out the the clear hypocrisy on the left, how you were all jumping to baseless assumptions about the shooter being a Trump supporter just because that's what you WANT him to be, because you're all sick psychopaths who use the deaths of innocent people to further your political goals. And then when we actually have the person themselves saying they're nonbinary, in court, all of a sudden you're shifting and trying to claim it's not true. Because your baseless assertions are apparently more valid than what's actually said in court.
1
@nope5657 just telling the truth. It's funny how truth is such a terrifying concept to leftists.
1
@imdanthompson maybe he was panicking and covered in blood? I don't know, I don't know the whole story. I already said that, and you don't either. You're the one jumping to conclusions and saying the police are the bad guys, because that's what the leftist cult tells you to believe. I'm the one saying I don't know, because I don't have enough information. But I'm not going to immediately assume the police were in the wrong, there's a little principle free countries operate on, where we presume innocence until we can prove guilt, or at the very least until we have evidence of guilt.

@robertaylor9218 based on what I've heard so far, it sounds like they were just detaining him because he was obviously a key part in everything that happened. That doesn't necessarily mean he was even suspected, if it is true that he was handcuffed, I'm not sure how that makes sense, they wouldn't typically do that unless he's a suspect or a flight risk. Which he may have been a suspect at that time, at least initially. But honestly, it doesn't really matter. This story is going down the memory hole, it doesn't fit the leftist narrative. You'll likely never hear about it again after today.
1
@Gambit0590 you can't be serious. You lunatics will use any kind of ass backwards logic to avoid admitting that you're the side of violence.
1
All these transphobes in Kyle's comments, not using the proper pronouns and even casting doubt on whether this person was really nonbinary. Wow. I thought the left was supposed to accept people's "lived experiences".
1
@Hipfireturtle how dare you deny someone's lived experience. So transphobic.
1
@Hipfireturtle these are the nonsense rules you weirdos created.
1
@jimbob498 and it was so damn predictable too, I knew as soon as this story broke that it didn't fit the leftist narrative, because there would have been headlines all over every propaganda outlet about him being a white nationalist Trump supporter. Even if that wasn't true. The fact that they were being vague with it is proof that media knew the entire time that it was a deranged nonbinary weirdo.
1
Too bad the shooter is nonbinary. Still think he's a republican? If you're going to try and blame the ideology on the actions of an individual, look in the mirror, your ideology is responsible.
