@frostbite3318 you're right, we did.

Instead of going to $30k per ticket galas for the wealthy elite, she could take the money she spent on that custom dress and go and help out the poor communities she's always pretending to care about. Go to a woman's shelter, or donate to orphanages or something. She could even get some nice photo shoots for her insta if she wants, I don't think most reasonable people would have a problem with that if she's actually doing something to help. Remember, nobody told her to have this ridiculous standard for moral superiority. She did that for herself. So it's up to her to live up to it.

@hellofellowkids2817 yea I know, it's hard to live by your own principles when your stated principles are complete nonsense.
2
@hellofellowkids2817 "rich people bad!" while she's raking in massive tax payer funded salary and spending a small fortune on designer clothes. If she wants to tax the rich she can lead by example and voluntarily pay the taxes she's proposing. If she needs the government to force her into paying what she thinks the wealthy should pay, then she's proving what everyone with a shred of common sense already knows.

@peterroberts4415 for real, it's like a pretentious vegan that's constantly condescending to everyone getting caught eating a cheeseburger. I don't care if anyone wants to eat a cheeseburger, those aren't my principles, but if you're going to preach that shit then you have to live by that shit. Otherwise you can just get off your high horse that nobody asked you to ride in the first place.

@TheJrr71 I wouldn't be surprised if she's trolling you. She's seen that there's still a portion of people who are so goddamn stupid and cult like, they'll support her no matter what she does. So she's probably got a bet with her staffers going on to see who can come up with the most absurdly hypocritical stunt she could possibly pull off and have people still defend it🤣🤣🤣 she's probably reading her Twitter feed from her luxury apartment and laughing her ass off right now, at how easy it is to be a leftist politician.

@hellofellowkids2817 so let me get this straight, you don't see the issue with someone who's entire shtick is that she's for "the working class" spending god knows how much on a custom dress that says "tax the rich" to a $30k per ticket cushy gala for wealthy elite, where the elite don't have to wear masks but all the lowly peasants serving them do. And your justification is that the dress was made by a "POC"? Really now? Just sit and think about that for a minute. Because this could be something out of The Onion, or The Babylon Bee. Honestly. This is parody in real life. And you're unironically defending it.
1
@redtree8254 I think a gala is like a party, except it's just rich people posturing their status and none of the fun stuff that normal people do at parties.
1
@redtree8254 although to be fair, status posturing probably is fun for most rich people.

@hargibson18 really speaks more to how far off the crazy cliff the left has gone when anyone who's even remotely critical of the bat shit insane left is considered right wing.
1
I mean, in the sense that "there's no such thing as bad publicity", sure. But everyone is laughing at you.
1
@TheJrr71 everyone that's not a completely insane far leftist is laughing at completely insane far leftists. If you're not laughing, you're one of them.
1
@TheJrr71 she's wearing a custom made dress that says "tax the rich", to a cushy party for wealthy elites, who aren't wearing masks while all the peasants serving them have to wear masks. Dude that's parody in real life. You have to understand how normal people view that. It's like a goddamn SNL sketch, from back when they did comedy.
1
@TheJrr71 yea the same reason crazy people don't think they're crazy, and people in cults don't think they're in a cult.
1
@TheJrr71 lmao, I don't think projection means what you think it means. Picture this exact same scenario with AOC, except it's an SNL skit. Seriously. They wouldn't even have to change the skit. They could just have Kate McKinnon put on a wig and act out exactly what happened, and everyone would laugh at it.
1
@TheJrr71 "projection" is just leftspeak for "I can't defend my stupidity or hypocrisy". Same with "whataboutism", "racist" or "fascist", these are all just things you say as a tacit admission that you know you're wrong.
1
@TheJrr71 you don't even know what projection means either. Are you trying to say that I'm not actually living by my principles? That doesn't make any sense. You don't even know what my principles are.
