  1. Few things amuse me as much as the far left's completely insane vitriol towards Joe Rogan, and nothing speaks more to how utterly insane and extremist they are, that they would think of possibly the most moderate of all mainstream voices as some kind of extremist.

The pendulum swings back and forth throughout time and civilizations, and right now there is a far left problem, to the extreme that the far right is completely insignificant. I'm not too worried about a handful of nutters that mostly just shitpost on the internet, I'm more worried about the millions of people who support violent riots in the name of make believe social justice.

Sometimes they're serious discussions, sometimes they're just goofing off, but it's not supposed to be taken as any kind of endorsement one way or another. If you want people to tell you what to think, you have 95% of the rest of YouTube for that.

  14.  @tallking7777  it's pretty baffling that Joe has even found himself in the political sphere. I mean, he's had guests on speaking about political issues for a while. But he's not really on a "side" himself. He's a perfect indication of how absolutely insane the left is, he aligns more closely to left wing ideals himself, he just doesn't really give a shit about the "culture war", so the left attacks him constantly, they wanted him to die from covid just to score political points. That's completely insane.

  15.  @tallking7777  I didn't say you did, but I hate to be the one to break it to you, that's the pretty widely held rhetoric of the left at this point. Wishing death on people who don't have the exact same opinions and positions as them on the virus. It's pretty damn weird and creepy.

  16.  @tallking7777  of course, we're in the escalating phase of a cold civil war. People are crazy these days. I understand the vaccine hesitancy, and the response to the hesitancy, my personal position is that it's probably fine and you should get vaccinated, but I'm not going to support any kind of legislation around what people should do, all of this push towards coercing people to get the vaccine isn't doing anything positive whatsoever, it's only driving us further apart. And that's the point, that's the explicit purpose of it. If someone is paranoid about government overreach, screaming at them and telling them they have to do it because the government says so only proves their point. And if someone thinks the virus is all the fault of people refusing to listen to the experts, then screaming at them to listen to the experts also isn't productive. People need to just remember that personal freedom and responsibility is something that a lot of people value, and no matter what your personal opinion of that is, those people are still going to have their opinion too.
