For those of you curious about what's actually happening, and not just mindlessly consuming what Kyle is telling you, Democrats want price fixing, Republicans don't.

@slagmigwire155 it's not as simple as just waving a magic wand and saying "this is how much this costs, because I said so!" If that didn't have any negative side effects, then everyone would do it. Price fixing causes shortages. Always. I know progressives like to live in fairy tale land where supply and demand doesn't exist, scarcity doesn't exist, and everything bad is because of capitalism, but that's not the real world that we live in.

@jj947 Republicans want the market to decide, so we have the proper balance between price and availability. It's called reality. Democrats know this too, they just also know their voters are stupid.
