I'm pretty sure Carlin would hate the modern left with a fiery passion from hell, you're exactly what he was warning about when he took stands for freedom of speech and expression. He just thought it would come from the right, not the left.

Kyle talking about anyone being smug is like Charlie Sheen saying someone has a drug and alcohol problem.
2
Honestly if someone asked me who the most smug person on the internet is, Kyle is one of the first people who would come to mind. Maybe Vaush. That's about the most extreme cases of smugness I can possibly think of, and I'm not even saying Maher isn't also smug, but Kyle has no room to talk to anyone whatsoever about being smug, not even Vaush because it's kind of a toss up between the 2 of them.

@JFLOJUDO yea he would hate you pretentious jackasses too, you always complain about what you want but you're not willing to lift a damn finger to earn it. He talked about class struggles but understood that you don't get something just because you want it, all today's progressives ever say is gimme this, gimme that, I want it I want it I want it, like an overgrown toddler. He would probably reluctantly align with the populist right.

@luodeligesi7238 key words "alleged" and "accusation". Doesn't take a super big brain to figure out that people who were arrested making claims of misconduct isn't exactly the most reliable source, that's like asking women if their ex boyfriend is a jerk.
2
Isn't that the same thing Kulinski does?
1
@greenbrickbox3392 you can complain about your house and still love your house and want to live there, but if all you ever do is complain about how terrible your house is and how much better all the other houses are, eventually people are going to tell you to STFU and move to a better house. As they rightfully should.

@brentchisko924 Maher sucks, but he makes some good point sometimes. He's spot on about the toxicity on the left, he's late to the party, people were trying to tell him that for years. But at least he realizes that now, unlike the progressives that are still completely clueless to the fact that they're Nazis with a different ideology.
1
That's basically the argument the left uses with idpol. Dismiss anyone who has a different "lived experience". But it's ok when you do it.
1
@davel7159 he would go on an epic Twitter rant, spouting off as many offensive things as humanly possible. Before he joins Trump in the shadow banned realm🤣
1
@brentchisko924 you have some severe emotional issues. I think politics is too heavy for you.
1
@luodeligesi7238 tell me how many unarmed people are killed by police per year in the US, just an estimate.
1
@luodeligesi7238 it's a pretty simple question, I'm sure you're not so ignorant that you would support a political cause without knowing any hard data about it, are you?
1
@luodeligesi7238 and even taking your numbers at face value, those are pretty small numbers when you're looking at a span of 60 years, in a country of over 300 million people.
1
@luodeligesi7238 so tell me what you do. I'm curious what kind of misconduct we can dig up within your profession if we're looking for it, and paint you with that broad brush as though you're guilty by association. That's how confident I am that your point is stupid. Even if you're a feckless loser without a job, just pick a profession, any profession. The most squeaky clean profession you can think of.
1
@luodeligesi7238 do you honestly think 200k is an egregious number, over the span of 60 years, in a country of 300 million people? Jesus Christ, you're too stupid to even know what numbers are. Which is why you're so easily manipulated.
1
@GordieKat so go move to Cuba. I hear they have free healthcare there.
1
@GordieKat they also have higher taxes, more border control, and less welfare programs for people who have no reason to not work other than they just don't feel like it. But if you think those countries do things better, by all means, go there. Nobody is being held in America as a hostage. But yet, for some reason progressives can't seem to explain without some serious mental gymnastics, we still have more people immigrating here than any other country in the world, by an order of magnitude 3x higher than the 2nd country on the list. So apparently a handful of people think it's not so bad.
1
@GordieKat so more people would want to go to other countries if said countries had worse foreign policy? Is that really what you're going with?
1
@GordieKat but people with absolutely nothing come to America from the other side of the world, often risking their life to do so. And you're telling me that you don't want to leave because it would be inconvenient? And also, simultaneously, America is terrible and other countries are better? Yea buddy, that doesn't check out.
1
@GordieKat so pick your favorite "social democracy". If you could live in any country in the world, and you had the means to make it happen tomorrow, where are you going?
1
well they couldn't have been that strong in the first place then, right? They should have just kicked America's ass. Since left wing ideas and governments are so superior.
1
woah woah woah.... Woah. Soviet Union, and China? But I thought THaT wAsNt rEeL cOMunNiSm!!!!
1
Derek Hitt I guarantee you this guy has made the literal opposite argument about all of those countries being "far right" when it was convenient for a different mental gymnastics routine he was trying to perform.
1
oh right, right, it's complicated. But when it comes to the fact that more people immigrate to America than anywhere else, it's because "AMERICA BAD!" and there's no nuance to that at all. There's only nuance for the things that you want to defend. Of course.
1
I'm pretty sure anyone who's a boomer has always been a boomer. That's what words mean.
1
@claudiagarcia939 so he's older than he used to be? Holy shit, me too.
