@jamesmorrow1646 don't group me in with these leftist half brains, I believe in freedom of speech for everyone, even people I don't like who have ideas I don't like. Ideas don't hurt anyone, people hurt people, and you can't stop that by silencing them. The left has lost its collective hive mind.

Exactly, let them speak and tell people why they're wrong. If you just simply silence them, people will assume it's you that's wrong, and you're trying to hide something. Because that's almost always the case with censorship.

@belstar1128 leftism has an inherent problem with authoritarianism, it's not a bug, it's a feature. Towards the center, left leaning is going to favor more government spending and right leaning favors less. Some people can remain towards the center but it's always, always, always going to push further left over time. There's no avoiding this. That's why individuals who lean left are eventually going to align more with the right over time in any large social structure, because the left will always push further left and leave more moderate people behind. This same mechanism doesn't exist in the same capacity on the right because what it means for the government to be less involved means different things to different people, the right isn't always going to push further right like the left does.

@UpliftedTranceJunkie that's a pretty bizarre combination, seems like being pretty far to the left would put you in opposition to free speech. A very small portion of people would ever go along with far leftism if they had the right to speak out against it, it requires a heavy authoritarian hand.
