Hey if you guys want to go after the shady financial dealings in politics, be my guest, I'm all for that. The only problem is.... Good luck. These are the most powerful and connected people in the world, they cover their tracks and make sure whatever they do is either "technically not illegal" or it's impossible to trace. Plus I don't think you would like the results even if we did do that, considering over 80% of billionaire donations go to democrats. But the facts are facts, we have Oliver on video offering a bribe to a SC Justice. There are no 2 ways about it, this is straight up bribery.

@exodusthang we don't usually get a video of people offering a cash reward for political favors, most of the shady dealing in politics are done behind closed doors, by smart, powerful, and connected people, who know how to cover their tracks. Corruption is corruption, I will always favor prosecuting people who are guilty of bribery or extortion. It's just not usually as easy as a public confession like Oliver gave us.

@bobbafett1849 so show the receipts. If it can be proven he was getting illegal kickbacks, by all means, try and prosecute. We don't usually have the luxury of an open bribe on national television like Oliver just did. Most shady political actors are smarter about covering their tracks.

Republicans have largely remained the same, the conservative worldview has always been to give people equal rights and freedom, and let the chips fall where they fall. Democrats have changed their rhetoric, but the general framework of the leftist worldview has remained the same, discriminate and divide, to gain power and tip the scale in the direction you want it to go.
