  1.  @avinashtyagi2  they're still required to give breaks according to other labor laws, I may be off on the numbers, but I believe 6 or more hours requires a 30 minute break, and 8 or more requires an hour. But these are unpaid breaks. This law stated that employees must get a 10 minute paid break every 4 hours. This doesn't mean companies can't still allow that, they're just not required by law, and it absolutely does not mean they're not allowed to drink water, that's ridiculous.

Nothing was "banned", they just rolled back the law that requires employers to give a 10 minute break every 4 hours. Workers can still drink water, and they can even still take breaks, according to company policy. They're just not using the state to force employers to give paid breaks.
