  1.  @noahwalker8359  my wife doesn't really care for horror movies, it's no big deal though, I just watch them when she's at work. It's not like I live and die by horror movies anyway, it's not my favorite genre. And if we were first dating, and I asked if she wanted to see The Exorcist, she probably would have said hell no, let's watch something funny. And I would have said ok, and just watched The Exorcist by myself when it was out on streaming.

  3. What the shit is wrong with younger generations? When I was growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s, most people had some kind of boyfriend or girlfriend, or at least a fling by the end of high school. Even the extremely awkward people.

  4.  @clintkantor  no, not really. I had friends in pretty much every circle, from the jocks to the goths to the skaters, and most people had some kind of relationship at some point. The awkward people paired up with the other awkward people.

  5. Dinner, or dinner and a movie. I don't think a movie is a good first date because you're supposed to talk and get to know each other a little, more than just the car ride there.

  6. Fancy restaurants are overrated, major chain restaurants like Cheesecake Factory have good food, it's not that much better at the fancy places that charge an arm and a leg.

  7.  @Mwest596  I live in the real version of reality, where people used to actually interact with other people, instead of burying themselves in a make believe internet existence so they become socially stunted basement creatures. And then you blame the rest of the world for why you're socially incapable.

  8.  @clintkantor  I love how leftists are so pathetic you think having a girlfriend or boyfriend in high school is some kind of unrealistic, unobtainable dream. I knew guys who were fat neckbeards and still managed to get a girlfriend, it's really not that hard. Just wash your ass more than twice a week and learn how to socialize like a normal person. You won't have every supermodel on the world banging down your door all night, but you can find someone.
