I'm picturing someone dragging a comically large coin with a bunch of dollar signs on it.

@henrygustav7948 what infrastructure? I hear lefties say that all the time over the last year or so, nobody even seems to know what it means. It's just the new buzz word you're obsessed with, just like it used to be "healthcare".

And one more step towards the voice of the people being completely meaningless, and congress being able to shove through anything they feel like for any reason they feel like. I know you lefties love the idea now, because you think it will only be used for things you like. But they're only telling you that because they know you're stupid, and they can use you to gain more power.

@henrygustav7948 they just say they're going to take the money from the rich to get stupid people to vote for them. They wouldn't make their buddies pay more money.

That's the point.

@tleonard8472 lmao, so like how I understand ballet? (I don't understand ballet at all)

The really frightening part about this, is I doubt Biden knows that "nuclear" isn't meant literally in this context.

@chiangkaishrek5123 McConnell sucks, but he's far from the biggest thing wrong with politics in the US.
1
@chiangkaishrek5123 he's just a garden variety career politician, whose main mission is to stay in office as long as possible while doing the least amount of actual work possible. There's dozens of others, if not hundreds. He's just one of the highest ranking and longest serving ones.
1
@chiangkaishrek5123 well who's fault is that? It's not the "system", it's that most people just vote along party lines. You can't just blame one side either, both are guilty of it. Shit I would say democrat voters are probably more guilty of it if I'm making a judgement call, republican voters nominated Trump even though it appeared he had no chance to win at the time, if democrat voters were willing to break from the norm in the same way then they would have nominated Bernie at least one of the times he ran.

@chiangkaishrek5123 there's no such thing as a "2 party system" though, that's just how people vote. You're accidentally agreeing with me, you're just too stupid to realize it.

That's probably what he thinks it means.
