@yoelsyhutchinson4377 she acts like an alien that learned about human social behavior on the spaceship ride over by watching old 70s sitcoms. And she didn't pay very much attention.

I was thinking pretentious leftist, but yea that kinda fits too.

@craigewen7542 that's because the core belief of the progressive populous is "gimme stuff, because I want it". And they love to gift wrap it in all sorts of nonsense and pretend like it's because they care about other people, but let's be real, they just want free stuff. Even progressives know it, they just won't admit it because they think all the other progressives are genuine and they're the only one smart enough to figure out they can pretend to care about other people. And it's foolish to think a politician would just give them stuff, why would they do that? Because they're just a cool dude like that? It's the easiest grift in the history of politics, tell stupid people you're going to give them free stuff, get elected by stupid people, give stupid people absolutely nothing and blame it on conservatives. Repeat, 4 years later.

I really wanted Marianne to win, seeing her debate Trump and his reaction to her rambling about auras and spirit stones would have been the funniest thing in history.

@austenhead5303 lmao, no, she's an insane woo-woo peddler. Don't get me wrong, she's hilarious, she perfectly illustrates what the left is today.
2
@austenhead5303 no, she's an insane woo-woo peddler. And I never said she wasn't intelligent or knowledgeable, I just pointed out (accurately) that she's an insane woo-woo peddler.
2
@austenhead5303 kinda hard to tell when it comes to woo-woo peddlers, there's a cloudy, nebulous area between actually believing their own nonsense and just preying on people who believe it.

@evanbeisel8739 of course they are, it's not like the political ruling class is going to give stupid people free stuff just because they're cool dudes like that. The whole movement is a grift.

@thegamingfool524 he's not wrong. The majority of democrat voters are just normies that pay little to no attention to politics. And since the overwhelming majority of media is in democrats pockets, they tend to vote democrat. More people who are politically engaged vote republican. And then there's the psychotic far leftists that think they're a little more than half of the country just because a little more than half of the country votes democrats. You're not. You're more like 5-10% of the country, which is still frightening as hell, any time a fringe faction of lunatics gets anywhere close to 10%, that's bad news for everyone, including the lunatics. That's why social cohesion is such a shit show in the US. It's you. It's completely your fault. And the far right is no good either but they're insignificant, there's probably less than 1% of the population that's actually far right. No extremism is good, but 1% is survivable, you can't ever reduce it to zero. 10% is not survivable. If you lunatics don't find your way out of crazy town soon, this country is doomed.

@craigewen7542 and conservative politicians are in on the shake too, hell why wouldn't they be? If half the voter base is so stupid they think they can just give politicians ultimate authority for the empty promise of free stuff, that's a win win for them. And we can blame politicians all we want, and they of course aren't innocent, but ultimately they're just doing what politicians do. It's like smearing yourself in honey and salmon fat and then getting mad at a bear for attacking you. The people are to blame.
1
@PublicGoodProject nah, you just want free stuff.
1
@PublicGoodProject and if all these other countries are so much better, why do people immigrate to the US more per year than any other country in the world? At a rate 4x higher than the 2nd country on the list? Seems a lot of people living outside of the US disagree with you about how terrible the US is. Also begs the question why you don't move to one of those more progressive countries that's so much better.

@craigewen7542 he's got a point, you use race or gender as a shield whenever someone criticizes one of your messiahs. No matter how legitimate the criticism is, you immediately jump to accusations of bigotry. Don't be mad when someone plays the stupid game you invented.
1
@craigewen7542 lmao, I actually meant that to be pinned to the person who responded to you last. If you're opposed to racism and bigotry though you shouldn't be a democrat in the first place. Racism is basically the main core element of the democrat platform, always has been.
1
@craigewen7542 lmao, nah you're good. Really think about it though, democrats were always the party of slavery and segregation, the only thing that changed was that racism went out of style around the civil rights era. But they didn't change, other than changing to pretending to be for minorities when really they were still for segregation. It's always been that way. They figured out that negative segregation has the same end result as positive segregation.
1
@craigewen7542 honestly I've become pretty jaded, a lot of people are so deep down the far left rabbit hole, there's no reaching them. A lot of them are racist on purpose too, I know that seems like a stupid concept, but I think that most far leftists have just been indoctrinated and actually think that they're being "anti-racist", but there's also a lot of them that are just genuinely good ole fashioned racist, and know that they can align with the far left and be openly racist without as much scrutiny as they would get if they didn't use the intersectional shield.

It cracks me up how progressives are constantly talking about how super smart they are, and how everyone else is dumb, and you're all so stupid you vote for progressive politicians. That's like Danny DeVito making fun of how short NBA players are.

@masterchief9291 because most moderately religious people are.... Moderate.
