@peterstafford4426 that's verifiably incorrect, republican voters consistently score higher than democrat voters on polls about current events, like covid numbers, police brutality numbers, taxation, etc etc etc. The average democrat voter knows as much about politics as I know about Broadway musicals. I don't know anything about Broadway musicals, if that wasn't clear. Except that there's a place called Broadway, and there's musicals there. That is the extent of my knowledge. And I think there was one about cats, but I can't remember what it's called.

@jackeagleeye3453 and how is the 700 year old career politician from the segregation era working out?

@raphaelkoch1573 I don't know that there was a time they ever were, democrats have always relied on low information voters, that's just the way it's always been. But you can understand when there was only newspapers and cable news to get information from. Now that everything is so easily verifiable with the internet, there's really no excusing anyone that's dumb enough to support Democrats. They're willfully ignorant.

@matthewschwartz6607 there is such thing as too much experience in politics. Like 346 years.

This happens every election cycle, depending on who wins, Republican in office, media freaks out and rallies the troops, Democrat wins, Democrat voters don't care anymore, Republican wins, cycle repeats. It's one of the main reasons we tend to alternate between Democrat and Republican Presidents. Democrats only win when low information voters turn out big. It's the only way they can win.

@matthewschwartz6607 that's not how US elections work, little fella. We're a constitutional republic.

@matthewschwartz6607 yea the internet is a thing that exists. Of course there was Russian influence on the election, just like Chinese, and every other kind of influence you can imagine. That's the era we're living in. There's absolutely nothing solid whatsoever suggesting that there was any kind of coordinated effort from Russia to help Trump win the election. There is, however, irrefutable proof that Hillary and Obama both paid people to spy on the Trump campaign, and presidency, and that they paid to dig up a phony dossier for a Russia investigation. But of course you're conveniently leaving all of that out.
